Towards a zero-carbon future in reefer logistics

Easyfresh is supportive to the Paris Agreement

Setting targets for reducing carbon emissions from all type of activities, including reefer logistics, at a global scale is one of the objectives of the Paris Agreement. In fact, it is an ongoing current practice in many companies, exactly like in our case,

In line with our commitment to sustainability, Easyfresh aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, making it the first reefer logistics suppliers in the world to assume this ambitious goal. At the same time, it is setting a decarbonization path with intermediate targets for 2022 to 2040.

This ambition entails directing all of its activities and investments to meeting new and more stringent plans all in alignment with the energy transition and the effort to limit the planet's temperature rise to well below 2 degrees Celsius according to the Paris Agreement's climate goals. In this context, Easyfresh assumes targets consistent with the Paris Agreement's climate goals.

The newly created "Easyfresh innovation lab" and the Easyfresh headquarters will track this development while more stringent decarbonization goals will be being implemented at different levels in the different countries. The company's 2020-2025 strategic targets, will be based on this new, and more demanding scenario.

As a matter of fact, our "Easyfresh Code of Conduct" states : "At EASYFRESH we are accountable for the impact of our decisions and activities on society, the economy and the environment. We take steps to lessen our environmental impact and strive to make a positive difference in the communities where we work and live. We aim to be transparent about our business to foster constructive relationships". You may download our Code of Contact here : https://www.easyfresh-logistics.com/downloads.php
